Introduction:

           Parab is considered the festival of festivals for people of Koraput mainly the tribals for whom dance and music are embedded in their way of life and embodied in their folk performances. The objective of PARAB is to give a deserving space to hidden talents in the rural areas and to mainstream their talents with accolades and admirations. The talents expressed in PARAB are diverse – Arts, Dance, Music, Sports, and more than anything else, PARAB unearthed/carved out the organizing talents and hidden leadership during the organizing process. A thematic punch “Parab of Swachchhata” ( Festival of Cleanliness) added a layer to the occasion.
